These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Free PDF Convert (“the Service”), available at freepdfconvert.ai. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

Free PDF Convert provides online tools to convert, organize, optimize, and secure PDF files, and an AI feature to ask questions about your documents. You may use the Service for lawful purposes only.

2. Your responsibilities

You agree that you will not:

• Upload or process files you do not own or are not authorized to handle, or that infringe any third party’s rights;
• Upload content that is illegal, malicious (e.g. malware), or violates applicable laws or regulations;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, abuse, or reverse-engineer the Service, or use automated means to access it beyond reasonable use;
• Use the Service to process content you are not permitted to share with third-party processors (see our Privacy Policy).

You are solely responsible for the files you upload and for keeping your own backups of any important documents.

3. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party processors (including ConvertAPI for conversions and Cerebras for AI features) to perform requested operations. Your use of the Service is also subject to the relevant terms of those providers. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party services.

4. AI-generated content

The Chat with PDF feature uses AI to generate answers based on your document. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Do not rely on it for legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. Always verify important information against the original source.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that conversions will be perfect for every file.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Free PDF Convert and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

7. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the files you upload. The Service’s software, branding, and design are the property of their respective owners and may not be copied or reused without permission.
